Southern Cross University Compliance Register

This Register lists the compliance drivers (Commonwealth, State and international laws and other statutory instruments, and industry, community and ethical standards and codes) that impact on the University’s activities and operations, to the extent that the University has some obligation of compliance or accountability.

  • Radiation Control Act 1990 (NSW) - Tier 3The Act relates to the protection of persons and the environment from exposure to ionising and harmful non-ionising radiation to the maximum extent that is reasonably practicable, taking into account social and economic factors and recognising the need for the use of radiation for beneficial purposes

  • Radiation Safety Act 1999 (Qld) - Tier 3This Act relates to the protection of persons from health risks associated with exposure to particular sources of ionising radiation and harmful non-ionising radiation.

  • Recreation Vehicles Act 1983 (NSW) - Tier 3This Act regulates the off-road use of motor vehicles.

  • Retail Leases Act 1994 (NSW) - Tier 3This Act makes provision with respect to the leasing of certain retail shops and the rights and obligations of lessors and lessees of those shops in NSW.



  • Retail Shop Leases Act 1994 (Qld) - Tier 3This Act makes provision with respect to the leasing of certain retail shops and the rights and obligations of lessors and lessees of those shops in QLD.

  • Return to Work Act 2014 (SA) - Tier 3Return to Work Act 2014 SA This Act provides for compensation and rehabilitation of the University's workers in South Australia in respect of work-related injuries.
